General Info

Tuesday Coed League

Description: League's consists of teams of up to 5 players, with only four scores used per week. Players on teams submitting 5 scores will take turns being the inactive player. We are currently running 1 coed league as there have not been enough women to form their own league. We hope that will change in the future.

Eligibility: Leagues are open to ALL golfers, members AND non-members alike.

Scoring: Each team will consist of an A, B, C, and D player (lowest handicap to highest). Team members play together as a team, but their hole-by-hole scoring is used to determine individual best ball matches against the opposing team. Each week the A player of your team will play the A player of the team you are playing that week, the B player on your team plays the B player on the opposing team, and so on. The higher handicapped players receive compensating strokes on the hardest holes. Each player receives 1 point for each hole his/her net score is lower than their opponent's net score -- making a total of 9 points possible per match, for a total of 36 points possible per team. The team with the lowest combined net score also recieves 6 points. This brings the total points possible to 42 points per week. At the end of the year, the team with the most points accumulated will be determined the winner. Prizes will also be awarded to the second place team, along with a prize for the leagues top individual point winner.

Tee Times: Each team will have a reserved tee-time for each Tuesday, which is the only day players can compete for pin prizes.

Make-Ups Not Allowed: Beginning in 2021, players must turn in their signed scorecard on the assigned league day. If a player fails to turn in their scorecard on the assigned league day, a "ghost" substite (their average handicap + penalty) will be used to score the match. Any player playing against a "ghost" player will be guaranteed to win 4 of the possible 9 points.

Rainouts: If a league night is rained out, all teams will have until Friday evening to make up their round. Teams that don't make up their round will be assigned "ghost" scores for scoring the match.

Pin Prizes: Each Tuesday players have the option of buying into any or all of the weekly games. Cash prizes are awarded to the winners of the closest-to-the-pin, longest-drive, longest-putt, and the blind bogey contests.

Cost: The cost to participate in the league is $35 per player (subject to change). Non-members will also need to pay the normal, non-member green fee (and cart fee if taking a cart) each week prior to starting the round.
